One Quick Note...
Tonight, as Josh was leaving for work, I was trying to clean the house and EG was intent on eating again...at 8 o'clock!!!! "Eat, eat, eat" and then she crawled up in her seat to eat (which she didn't!) she got her tray and tried to put it on herself. She got frustrated when she couldn't figure out how to get it to stay on her chair and through it up on the table...in doing that, she knocked over my full cup of coffee with sugary creamer. Coffee was running all over the table (which, might I add, we can never keep cleaned off...it is our "paper pile"), getting papers wet, dripping through the cracks of the table and onto the floor. What a mess!!! I asked Josh to go put her in bed so I could clean up the sticky mess.
After I got it cleaned up and the table cleared off (about 30 minutes) EG was still fussing in her room. I went in there, picked her up and sang Jesus Loves Me this is a new little ritual we have. I say "Do you want me to sing to you?" or "Mommy's going to sing to you." and she just lays back in my arms, looks at me and listens to me sing. After I sang to her tonight, she layed right back down, fussed 10 seconds and I never heard another peep. I had NO IDEA that she treasured that short time so much. It has definitely made bed time easier since loosing the loved passy!
I'll post pictures in the next couple of days!

Big Girl
Little EG is getting sooo big! We went to some friends house, along with some other families, for a father's day cookout and I found the little bug sitting on the porch "chatting" with the big girls. Too cute!
She has become quite the big girl. She mimicks EVERYTHING. In the mornings I seem to have a little sniffle, when I sniff she "sniffs" (actually blowing air out her nose). This morning, when I yawned, she opened her mouth as wide as she could. This evening in the car when I started coughing she started coughing. It is hilarious! I love the morning time I get to spend with her. It is so much fun. I don't ever want to have to give it up.
As I am typing this, she is in her bed crying out "Mommy no!" - I'm guessing she doesn't want to be in the bed right now. Poor girl!

2 Word Phrases
Our sweet little girl said 2 two-word phrases today!!! WoW! "mo wawa" (more water) and "Mommy no" when I was putting her to bed and we had friends over. She can't miss out on the action you know. EG always shows off in front of others but this was the first time she "really" showed off...she was wide open going crazy and showing some of her attitude (imagine that). She has had a busy couple of days but they have been great fun!!!

19 Months (today) and MANY faces!
Helping Mommy in the kitchen!
EG and Uncle Paul
I was unloading the dishwasher so I could put more in and she wanted to help. She would take one piece of silverware out at a time and hand it to me to put away...over and over agian we did that until finally all the silverware was out and she could shut the door. She went off to play and I rinsed/washed the dishes. I was putting the dishes in the dishwasher when she came back and she thought she could unload them. I tried to tell her that Mommy only needs help when she asks...but she didn't quite understand that so by the end of my loading the dishwasher there was a half-circle of silverware displayed on my kitchen floor.
Another cute story...I was still cleaning the kitchen and the little bug went over to the fridge and grabbed a picture of Josh and I off and carried it around the house saying "Mommy, Mommy". It is too sweet! The next day I called Josh and EG had the picture again and was holding it, walking around and saying "Mommy, Mommy" I LOVE IT! Maybe I can capture that on video...we'll see...if I can find the picture. She must have stuck it in her secret place!!!

Getting back up.
The children seemed to enjoy throwing the ball to dunk Josh. The youth had more fun going around back and pulling the lever so he wold automatically fall down. It was great fun!

Mommy...
There is nothing sweeter than walking through the door and hearing "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy" and the pitter patter of little feet running through the house. I love it!!!! I have the sweetest baby girl (most of the time)! :)
Yes...I have moved up in the world, I am not called "Mama" anymore but now "Mommy". It is so sweet to hear her say it.
I've got to video the following it is just too cute but for now you just have to imagine it! We sat down for dinner tonight and Josh started praying (I was peeking of course) EG was dancing in her seat and acting crazy when he started, then she realized we were praying and calmed down to listen then it was a race for her...Josh said "In Jesus name" and before he could say "name" she shouted "Amen!" It was too funny. I have just really begun to notice her saying "amen" the last couple of days and it is too cute. I will do my best to capture it on video tomorrow.
I have some really cue pics of her to post...hopefully tomorrow...the bed is calling me now! :)
