Favorite Things
I thought I would share a few of my favorite things that I am using this year to help me study God's word.
The first being the
Scripture Reading Plan I am using provided by the Journey church. I like it because if you get behind it is easy to get caught up. :)
The second is what I am using to help me memorize verses. I have always wanted to memorize Philippians and shared that desire with my husband. He directed me to this site which has a VERY helpful
guide to memorizing Philippians!

Hi! I saw your post on Marla's site and had to come over and say hi. My husband and I were in the same situation you described -- he felt we were called to church ministry, and I felt we were called to foreign missions. As it turns out, we were both right (what were the odds?), and an opportunity came up for us to spend a year in Japan where he pastored an international church. I remember for a long period of time before that opportunity came up we both felt like we were just waiting around, each with our own ideas/desires, not seeing how it would work out. And then it did, and it made sense that God allowed us to have the desires that we each had!
Anyway, just related to what you wrote and wanted to pass along that encouragement. I love hearing about families who have a passion for ministry of any kind -- whether it be domestic or foreign -- and how God uses their availability to bring many to Christ. Praise God for your family and all that you're doing right now!
Oh, and your Emma is so precious! My oldest daughter is around the same age. And my youngest is named Emma, which is just about the best name ever. In my humble opinion. :)
Blessings to you!
