Favorite Things

I thought I would share a few of my favorite things that I am using this year to help me study God's word.

The first being the Scripture Reading Plan I am using provided by the Journey church. I like it because if you get behind it is easy to get caught up. :)

The second is what I am using to help me memorize verses. I have always wanted to memorize Philippians and shared that desire with my husband. He directed me to this site which has a VERY helpful guide to memorizing Philippians!

Dan the Animal Man

"Dan the Animal Man" came to our church one evening to give his testimony (which is absolutely amazing) through the amazing animals that our Lord created. The group that he spoke to is an unchurched group from Wake Forest/Rolesville High School that our church hosts each Thursday evening. Emma enjoyed all the animals. We (Emma and I) got there just as they were taking the porcupine away so i don't have any pictures of it. :( Dan travels all around sharing his animals. He does secular events and Christian events.
