Favorite Things

I thought I would share a few of my favorite things that I am using this year to help me study God's word.

The first being the Scripture Reading Plan I am using provided by the Journey church. I like it because if you get behind it is easy to get caught up. :)

The second is what I am using to help me memorize verses. I have always wanted to memorize Philippians and shared that desire with my husband. He directed me to this site which has a VERY helpful guide to memorizing Philippians!

Santa Clause(s) :)

This post is mainly full of pictures of Emma with various Santa Clauses. One of these Santa Clauses is a sweet friend.
Our first trip to see Santa was with my good friend Juli and her boys.
I thought if we went together that Emma would warm up to Santa and do better...
that was not the case...she didn't care to sit with him.

She probably didn't care to sit with him because he didn't want to wear his hat and he was pretty rude. We won't be going back to Triangle Town Center to visit Santa again. He is not very friendly!

A couple of weeks later, Josh and I took E to visit Santa at Crabtree. This Santa has always been our favorite. She has sat in the same Santa's lap for three out of four Christmases! The one Christmas she didn't was because we chose not to endure the everlasting line. This Santa is SO sweet and takes all the time in the world with each child. He makes it so special. She was nervous at first but warmed up to talking with him. She told him how they both had belts and black boots. It was sweet! :) She asked for a purple umbrella and a candy cane. :)

The picture that we purchased is much better! I will have to get it scanned to upload. It is cute!

Our friend 'Sandy' Clause! :)

Last year, Emma was not thrilled with 'Sandy' Claus but this year she LOVED him to death! I'm so glad! She did however ask him a strange/embarrassing question, but thankfully he is our friend!

Emma lovin on some Santa! The CUTEST picture ever.

Our family picture with Santa that turned into....

our Christmas Card that all our friends and family will be receiving in July because I just didn't have the time to get them sent out in June! :)

Merry Christmas...in July! :)
