Papa, GG, Nu You!

"Nu You" translated Love You!! Finally I get to hear her say those sweet words. She also says "Hold You" when she wants you to hold her! Isn't it sooo sweet! I love it!

Here is a picture of EG with her Papa and GG. She sure does miss them. We blew them kisses in the car today. I hope they caught them. I'll post some pics soon from her trip to TX.

Old Friends

Last weekend we had the privilege of meeting some family friends and our former music minister and his wife for dinner at one of our favorites Pei Wei. The food and the fellowship was great. We look forward to getting together with them again!

20 Month Photo Shoot

We had a "lovely" time taking pictures of EG at JC Penney's the other day. She was a pill and some of these pics prove it! :) Looking at these now I wish I'd ordered a few more. She's just too cute!

My Honey!

This weekend my hubby was ordained at Olive, our home church, in Pensacola. Olive will always hold a very special place in my heart. It is where I grew and matured in my faith - it is where I was baptized, where I felt God's calling on my life to missions, it is where I met my husband, where he was licensed, where we were married, where we dedicated our precious girl, and where he was ordained. We have friends there that have made a lating impact on my life and that I will always hold close to my heart. I always feel homesick after we go back to visit. I don't think I could ever put into words all that "Olive" has meant to me - oh how I love and miss it!

Special thanks to Mom and Dad for making it work to come to the states for this day. Thanks to Stan for driving from Birmingham after preaching that morning, Daniel for coming down from Atmore and Scott and Jenny for coming from Memphis.

I love you hon and am proud of you!

Monday Funnies

Yesterday, I was unloading the dryer and asked EG to take a rag to the couch. She looked at me kind of funny so I said "take the rag to the living room" she looked at me again and then started on her way. I thought, yes, she understands! Well, she bypassed the living room and too the rag straight to the trash can! We'll wash that one again! :) EG and I were sitting in the rocking chair, watching the Backyardigans, my lap top was on the other side of me. I have the "Super Family" picture as the desktop and EG was looking at it and said "Daddy!" then she kept saying "hey, hey" but Daddy wouldn't talk back. I tried to explain to her that that was a picture and that we couldn't talk to Daddy. I think she is remembering the times that we talk to my mom dad on the computer. It was too cute!!! Sweet baby!
